I really like this! Great concept and I like your style of drawing here. Its sketchy but still clean if you get me. Really well drawn. Especially the face, hair, and clothes.

Thank you very much. It's fun to experiment, I don't usually do pen drawings, but it's different to limit yourself since you can allow for less mistakes with pen.

sure, yeah, sometimes my best doodles are in pen. It makes you highten your attention and plan more. I'm very impressed that you did this all in pen.

Pretty!!!!! I prefer pen sketches because they don't smudge as horribly as pencil

Did you have a reference for the birds or did you do it straight from memory?

Nope, no references. Just out of my head... I just decided in the middle of the drawing to make them bigger and add detail as they cascaded to the other page.
